We recently sat down with landscape architect and Master Structural Consultant Katharina Schütze who co-leads the Fundamentals of Structural Thinking (FST) course and the Living Art in Mexico to learn more about the FST course and how she got involved with Robert Fritz’s work. We also discuss some of her own creations, including Essbare Straße or the “Edible Street” project – an urban community garden in Berlin involving 70 community gardeners and touch on her land art creations with the art group pep berlin.
Watch the interview below:
In 2025, Katharina performed with a theater group at the central “Teatro Santa Ana” in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico and was part of a chorale that performed in the Kammermusiksal of the Berlin Philharmonic. She will be co-leading the Fundamentals of Structural Thinking (FST) course with Kira Higgs on September 24-27, 2026 and January 21-24, 2027.
